About Us
Based in Virginia Beach, but available anywhere you’re getting married, the Wedding Booth is a a new service offered by Justin Hankins Photography this wedding season.
Well, that’s not true, exactly… we’ve been providing the Wedding Booth to our own wedding clients for over 5 years now. But after turning away so many interested brides because we were already booked with weddings on their dates, we decided to spin the Wedding Booth off into its own business and offer it as a standalone option to everybody.
Justin Hankins is an award-winning wedding and portrait photographer who travels around the world documenting the happiest moments in people’s lives. He spent 10 years as Creative Director at Meticulous Design Group before getting tricked into photographing a friend’s wedding for free. He fell in love with the fast-paced nature of wedding photography and decided to pursue it full-time immediately thereafter. Since then, he’s committed his weekends to the lovely world of bouquets, boutonnières, and brides. He’s been awarded an Accolade of Excellence from Wedding & Portrait Photographers International, and has been a Best of Weddings winner by The Knot Magazine for three years in a row: 2010, 2011, and 2012.
Our staff is professionally trained in lighting and portraiture, and we were all class clowns growing up (no stuffy smiles here!). We’re members of Professional Photographers of America and Wedding & Portrait Photographers International. We’re licensed and insured for both liability and damage.
And we really, really, really like taking photographs.
